I'm a broadcast journalism student at the University of Florida. In addition to reporting for the ABC News On Campus bureau in Gainesville, Fla., I also report for WRUF-AM (CBS) and WUFT-TV (PBS). I have interned with the ABC and CBS affiliates in Tampa, Fla., and the CBS Evening News in New York City where I worked with the creative unit and the 'Assignment America' series. I worked as a News Associate in the CBS News 'Digital Journalist' unit in the summer of 2009 where I shot, wrote, and produced stories for CBS News and CBSNews.com.
My television and radio work has been recognized by the Florida Associated Press Broadcasters, RTNDA, Society of Professional Journalists, National Broadcasting Society, and the Hearst Foundation. In 2008, I won a National Edward R. Murrow Award for best use of sound in radio.
I enjoys traveling, Gator games, and eating good food with good people.
